Whistleblower System – Your Reports Matter to Us

We expressly encourage you to report any actual or suspected violations of legal provisions or internal regulations to us, in order to jointly contribute to the detection, prevention, and resolution of misconduct (§ 12 para. 1 German Whistleblower Protection Act – HinSchG).

 


 

1. Importance of Compliance and Prevention

Compliance with legal requirements, ethical standards, and internal company policies is of utmost priority to us. Our goal is to detect potential violations at an early stage, take appropriate countermeasures, and prevent harm to employees, business partners, the environment, and society (§ 3 para. 2 HinSchG).

 


 

2. Internal Reporting Office (pursuant to § 12 HinSchG)

We have established an independent and confidential reporting office to receive and process reports:

The internal reporting office is authorized and obligated to review reports confidentially and initiate follow-up actions (§ 17 HinSchG).

 


 

3. Anonymous Reporting

You may also submit your report anonymously (§ 16 para. 1 sentence 4 HinSchG). In such cases, we kindly ask you to provide as much specific information as possible to allow us to properly investigate the matter.

 


 

4. Protection and Confidentiality

We guarantee strict confidentiality of your identity (§§ 8 ff. HinSchG). Whistleblowers who submit reports in good faith are legally protected from retaliation or discrimination (§ 36 HinSchG). Employees need not fear any labor law consequences.

 


 

5. Procedure According to the Whistleblower Protection Act

a) Acknowledgement of Receipt:

If your report is not submitted anonymously, you will receive a confirmation of receipt within seven days (§ 17 para. 1 no. 1 HinSchG).

b) Follow-up Measures:

The reporting office will review your information and take necessary follow-up actions (§ 18 HinSchG), such as internal investigations or contacting relevant parties. A personal meeting can be arranged upon request.

c) Feedback:

You will receive feedback within three months of the acknowledgement of receipt regarding planned or already taken follow-up measures (§ 17 para. 2 HinSchG).

 


 

6. Data Protection

All data processing is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Your personal data is collected, processed, and stored only as far as necessary to handle the report (§ 10 HinSchG, Art. 6 para. 1 GDPR). As a whistleblower or person named in the report, you have the following rights:

  2. Right to rectification, Art. 16 GDPR
  3. Right to erasure, Art. 17 GDPR
  4. Right to restriction of processing, Art. 18 GDPR
  5. Right to object, Art. 21 GDPR
  6. Right to withdraw consent, Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR
  7. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, Art. 77 GDPR
